Iraq Is Standing, Armswise, Can We Sit Now?
When I opened the Post today and saw "Iraqis to Pay China $100Million for Weapons", I didn’t know if I should laugh, cry, or rage at the wall. Iraq, the land of guns and ammo, cannot outfit their police with weapons? They are not satisfied with U.S. arms merchants? We have spent billions on guns for them. I grant you we sort of threw them at the Iraqis and they sort of lost them. But, there are lots more available. This makes little sense. Oh, the folks arming the Iraqis are the ones who planned the war. Now I understand. BushCo and his buds in our military industrial complex cannot even get gun sales to a government we created and control done right. Cool. Maybe we no longer control Iraq? Are they standing up? Could we leave then? End the war because Iraq is arming itself! Are they are building their own MIC? Should we thank the Chinese for their assistance in this matter? Without them we might not ever realize the Iraqis are ready to lock and load; they are buying Chinese locks and Chinese loads. Oh, yeah, I wound up laughing. Now I better start worrying about BushCo and China. War with China next Tuesday and 3:12 PM?
